Legal
Terms and Conditions
These terms describe how the BITPAY platform works and what you agree to when you open an account. Please read them together with the Risk Disclosure, Fees and Privacy Policy.
Last updated: October 2026
1. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if higher, and legally able to enter a binding agreement.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Choosing a country of residence is a declaration, not proof of location or eligibility. We may restrict access, request evidence, or decline accounts based on jurisdiction.
2. Identity verification (KYC)
You may skip identity verification after registering. Withdrawal requests are blocked until your verification has been approved by a reviewer.
Uploading a document does not verify your account. A submission can be approved, declined with a reason, or returned for resubmission. Documents are stored privately and are visible only to you and authorised reviewers.
3. Deposits
A deposit is credited only after it has been reviewed and confirmed. Pending deposits remain pending and do not count towards your available balance.
Each asset and network is distinct. Sending funds on an unsupported network or to an incorrect address can result in permanent loss that we cannot reverse.
4. Withdrawals
Withdrawals require approved KYC, sufficient available funds and any other eligibility checks configured on the platform. Requests are reviewed before they are processed.
A withdrawal is shown as completed only when it has actually been processed. A request that is pending, approved or rejected is described with that exact status.
5. Investments
Each plan states its duration, limits, fees, risk level and how any return is calculated. A displayed percentage is identified as a target, an illustrative estimate or a contractually defined rate, and is never a guarantee.
Investment purchases, accruals, maturity and payouts are recorded in an append-only ledger. Where an amount is a simulation, it is labelled as such and is not withdrawable money.
6. Membership
Basic and Premium memberships determine which features are available. Membership is verified on our servers; it cannot be changed from your browser.
Copy trading requires Premium. A listed trader or a published signal is information, not an executed trade.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- provide false identity information or use another person's account,
- attempt to bypass security controls, balances or role checks,
- use the platform for money laundering, fraud or any unlawful purpose.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms and may be required to report suspicious activity.
8. Records and administrative changes
Authorised administrators can adjust records such as balances or verification status. Every such change is written to a protected audit log with the administrator, time and reason. Administrative changes do not send you a notification by themselves; security-critical and legally required notices are handled separately.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for market losses, network delays, third-party outages or losses caused by incorrect addresses or compromised credentials. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Complaints and disputes
Raise concerns through the contact page. We will review the account records and respond. The governing law and dispute forum must be specified by the operator of this deployment.
11. Changes and account closure
We may update these terms; the date above will change when we do. You may ask to close your account at any time. Closure and data deletion follow the retention rules in the Privacy Policy.
